Clinic began its activity in 1998. Clinic incorporators were initiative group of students-lawyers, members of  Public organization „Legal Protection Center”, and also First pro-rector of ZIGMA Volodymyr Glazunov.
Clinic began its activity under support of  Zaporizhian Regional Union of Industrialists and Businessmen, Chairman of  Zaporizhian regional court.

Aims and tasks:
Clinic was founded for providing with legal aid poor categories of citizens and assistance of solving of the most important social problems.
In obedience to “Instruction about the clinic”, it is a structure, that is created for practicing of law faculty students; to help them to gain professional practical skills of their future work.
Task of clinic:  introduction in  educational process of elements of students’ practical work of  giving  legal services, development of professional skills by them (giving of consultations, intercourse with clients, drafting legal documents, representation of interests etc.); giving of free legal aid to poor categories of citizens; improvement of professional level of students for  future work; to help students in employment etc.

Clinic provides students with such types of services:
- giving of verbal or written consultations on civil, family, labour, agrarian, housing legislation;
- search of normative sources  on  any branches of Law;
- drafting documents of legal nature (points of claim, complaints, queries and etc);
- representation of interests in court;

Educational process in clinic is carried out in:

1. participation of students in  lessons, including individual consultations with counsels of the programs;
2. passing by students a practice, that is foreseen by the educational plan;
3. consultations;
4. drafting legal documents;
5. presentation of interests of clients in  state and municipal organs, organizations, in court (arbitration court, public court) for administrative commission;
6. collaboration with mass mediums, publishing organizations, other organizations.

Collaboration:
Clinic activity is oriented on a wide collaboration with legal establishments, police department, and other state and municipal organs, establishments and organizations, and also with nongovernmental organizations in Ukraine and abroad.

The information about clinic activity spreads by placing of announcements in halls of educational establishments, and through personal intercourse of students.
