Existence of clinic is confirmed by the order of university rector from 28.11.2000

Aims and tasks:
Providing law students of USMTU with a possibility of receipt of practical skills of work through giving of legal aid to invalids, pensionaries, unemployed persons and others.

Aid is given in the next branches of law:

1. Civil Law
2. Family Law
3. Labour Law
4. Administrative Law
5. Housing Law
6. Criminal Law

In addition  legal aid is given in  drafting legal documents, statements, complaints etc;  representation of interests of clients is carried out in court (except for the criminal cases); representation of interests of clients in  state and other organs; advising by phone in  cases that do not need the direct intercourse with client and establishment of definite circumstances.

The information about work of public waiting room of legal clinic spreads through the daily advertising on the radiostation „Radio Mykolayiv”, through distribution of cards-announcements on the local markets and in the grocery stores, through speeches at the students’ research conferences and notification of local public organizations.
