Of “Legal Initiatives” Charity Foundation
At National University “Ostroz’ka Academy”
“Legal clinic” „PRO BONO” was founded and began its activity in October 2000.
Aims and tasks:
Realizing nature and meaning of “legal clinic” notion “Legal initiatives” Foundation jointly with State University “Ostroz’ka Academy” aim to create for students possibilities to gain certain legal practice skills and comprehension about citizens’ needs and how can they protect their rights according to the law.
Also, realizing necessity and actuality of the program important clinic aim is an improvement of legal protection and legal education of citizens.
Aid is given in the next branches of Law:
- Civil Law
- Labor Law
- Family Law
- Landed Law
- Housing Law
- Tax Law
- Public welfare Law
Also aid is given in legalization of points of claim, appeals of citizens, other judicial documents, and also representation of interests in court and other organs.
The criminal cases are not included in the clinic specialization.
The information about clinic activity spreads through distribution of advertising-announcements, booklets, presentation of information in newspaper “Ostyroz’ka Academy”.
Collaboration:
For achievement of program aims the organization co-operates with public organization „Formation of Fighters for Justice” (Netishyn), “Fraternity of the Ostroz’ka Academy Students” (Ostroh) and Volyn Resource Center (Rivne).
