Legal clinic began its activity in 1998.
Aims and tasks:
Creation of conditions and possibilities for students to get practical skills, that is learn to apply its knowledges in practice. Also important task is to help citizens in their legal defense, realization of their rights and interests.
Aid is given in the next branches of Law:
- Civil Law
- Housing Law
- Domestic Law
- Labor Law
Legal services are given as consultations, preparation of points of claims, representation in court and drafting legal documents.
An additional direction of work is advising by correspondence, and also participation of clinic students in reception of citizens, that is conducted by specialists of the Budionivskiy district executive committee of Donetsk city in last Thursday each month.
The information about legal clinic work spreads among population through announcements, appearances on television, presentation of such information in courts, district departments of public welfare, legal departments of executive committees, pension funds, advocacy.
Materials about work of legal clinic are published in „Bulletin” of Center of practical study.
