Legal clinic began its activity in 1999.

Aims and tasks:
Creation of conditions and possibilities for students to gain practical skills, that is learn to apply its knowledges in practice. Not less important task  is to help citizens in their legal defense, realization of their rights and interests.

Aid is given in the next branches of Law:

1. Civil Law
2. Labour Law
3. Economic Law
4. Housing Law
5. Public Welfare Law
6. Family Law
7. Criminal Law

The information about clinic activity spreads through  advertising on television, in  press, and also by distribution of leaflets with information about the clinic activity. Also such information is spreading through intercourse of clients.

Collaboration:
Clinic has established and maintain collaboration with  public organization „Social amnesty” (The organization gives free legal services by phone. Students-participants of the project are involved in this work.); with  public organization „Open society” (this organization under sponsorship of International Renaissance Foundation creates in Ivano-Frankivsk network of public waiting rooms. Its basic  function – an aid in presentation of appeals to  organs of state authority.The clinic gave the methodical help in creation of this waiting rooms, some students of clinic participate in this project); with  public organization „Club Lekstrim” and with local cell of the European Law Students Association „ELSA”.
Also agreement is attained about collaboration with “Women Business Support Center” at “Business Initiatives”.
