UALSYL – unprofitable, ungovernmental public organization of law students and young lawyers officially incorporated in February 1998.

Organization’s aim –
Development of public activity of its members, participation in development and realization of  programs of legal and other directions, satisfaction  and defence of professional and social interests of organization’s members.

 The main tasks: 

1. providing members of Association with a possibility to realize their professional, organizational and other capabilities;
2. aid and assistance of research work of the Association members;
3. solving of professional problems in branches of studying,  practicing, internship and employment of the Association members;
4. propaganda and explanation of active legislation;
5. learning of experience of foreign countries in branches of Law and legal education;
6. improvement of level of theoretical education and practical experience

Clinic “Alternative” gives aid in the next branches of Law:

1. Civil Law, civil procedure
2. Housing Law
3. Family Law
4. Land Law
5. Labour Law
6. Administrative Law

Additionally clinic gives aid in drafting statements, complaints, lawsuits. As a result of its activity clinic publishes  review of most actual cases.

Legal clinic “Alternative” – program of giving by students free legal aid to poor categories of citizens who need social defence. “Legal clinic” program began its work in October 2001. Its realization is carried out together with Faculty of Law of Uzhgorod State Institute of Informatics, Economics and Law under financial support of International Renaissance Foundation and assistance of Zakarpattian Enterprising Support Fund “TES Fund”.
